Our story
About Loomenio
Loomenio is a simple inventory, recipe, batch, and product cost tracking tool built for handmade sellers and small-batch makers.
It helps makers keep materials, products, recipes, production batches, and stock updates connected in one workspace — without relying on messy spreadsheets or manual calculations.
Why Loomenio exists
Loomenio started from a very practical problem.
I originally began building it because my wife works with handmade products, and I saw how difficult it can be to keep everything organized when materials, packaging, recipes, finished products, and stock are all tracked in separate places.
At first, spreadsheets can feel flexible. But as soon as there are more materials, more products, repeat batches, changing prices, and finished stock to manage, it becomes harder to trust the numbers.
You need to know:
- what materials are in stock;
- what is running low;
- what each product needs;
- what each product really costs to make;
- what was used in a batch;
- what finished products are ready to sell.
Loomenio was created to make that process easier and clearer.
Built for handmade and small-batch businesses
Loomenio is designed for makers who sell physical products and work with real materials.
It can be useful for:
- candle makers;
- soap makers;
- skincare and cosmetics makers;
- jewelry makers;
- ceramics and pottery makers;
- home fragrance makers;
- small-batch product businesses;
- handmade sellers on Etsy, Shopify, Instagram, TikTok Shop, Amazon Handmade, and local markets.
The goal is not to build a complicated enterprise system. The goal is to give small makers a clear, focused tool that helps them understand their stock and product costs without extra complexity.
What Loomenio helps with
Loomenio brings together the core parts of small-batch production:
- Materials:
- Track ingredients, components, packaging, supplies, current stock, low stock levels, and inventory value.
- Products:
- Track finished goods, product stock, selling prices, and stock status.
- Recipes / BOMs:
- Create product recipes that show what materials go into each product or batch.
- Production batches:
- When you make a batch, Loomenio can deduct the required materials and add finished products to stock.
- Product cost visibility:
- Loomenio helps estimate what each product costs to make based on materials and quantities, so makers can price with more confidence.
- Inventory transactions:
- See what changed, when it changed, and why — instead of trying to reconstruct stock history from multiple spreadsheets.
Made to be practical, not overwhelming
Many inventory tools are too complex for small handmade businesses. They often feel like mini ERP systems built for larger operations.
Loomenio is intentionally simpler.
It focuses on the workflows that matter most for small makers:
- materials;
- recipes;
- batches;
- finished stock;
- product costs;
- low stock visibility.
The product is being built step by step with feedback from real makers, so it can stay useful, focused, and easy to understand.
Who is behind Loomenio
Loomenio is built by Roman Lozunskyi, a Bubble.io developer and product builder based in Ukraine.
The project combines practical experience in building web applications with a real need observed inside a handmade business. That is why Loomenio is focused on everyday maker workflows instead of abstract inventory theory.
Our direction
Loomenio is starting with inventory, recipes, product costs, and batch tracking for handmade sellers.
Over time, the goal is to support more of the small-batch business workflow, including better reporting, sales channel integrations, suppliers, purchase orders, and deeper production history.
But the core idea stays the same:
help small makers understand what they have, what they can make, and what each product really costs.
