About Loomenio

Loomenio started from a very practical problem.

I originally began building it because my wife works with handmade products, and I saw how difficult it can be to keep everything organized when materials, packaging, recipes, finished products, and stock are all tracked in separate places.

At first, spreadsheets can feel flexible. But as soon as there are more materials, more products, repeat batches, changing prices, and finished stock to manage, the data is all there and the next action still isn’t obvious.

Every day you need to know:

• what you can make right now with the stock you have;
• which material is limiting production;
• what to reorder, and when;
• what each product really costs to make today;
• which prices, recipes or costs are missing or out of date;
• what is ready to sell.

Loomenio started as a way to keep that data connected. It is now built to answer those questions for you, every time you open it.

Loomenio is built first for candle, soap, and skincare makers, where repeat recipes, shared materials and batch production make operations hard to track by hand. It also fits other makers who sell physical products from real materials, including:

• candle makers;
• soap makers;
• skincare and cosmetics makers;
• other small-batch product makers who work from repeat recipes, such as home fragrance, ceramics and jewelry;
• makers who sell on Etsy, Shopify, Instagram, at markets or wholesale.

The goal is not to build a complicated enterprise system. The goal is to give small makers a clear, focused tool that tells them what needs attention without extra complexity. If most of your products are one-off pieces without repeat recipes, Loomenio is probably more than you need.

Loomenio brings together the core parts of running a small-batch business:

Today:

A prioritized list of what to make, what to buy, and what to fix, drawn from your own stock, recipes, production and sales. Each item links to the numbers behind it.

Materials and products:

Track ingredients, components, packaging and finished products with current stock, minimum levels and costs.

Recipes / BOMs:

Create product recipes that show what materials go into each product or batch, with costs that update when material prices change.

Production batches:

When you make a batch, Loomenio deducts the materials from the recipe and adds finished products to stock.

Sales and transactions:

Record sales and see what changed, when, and why, instead of reconstructing stock history from several spreadsheets.

AI Capture (optional):

Type or dictate what happened and AI proposes the stock operations. You review each one before it is saved. AI never calculates your stock or costs.

Many inventory tools are too complex for small handmade businesses. They often feel like mini ERP systems built for larger operations.

Loomenio is intentionally simpler.

It focuses on the workflows that matter most for small makers:

• stock and finished goods;
• sales;
• product costs.

It is being built step by step, so it can stay useful, focused, and easy to understand.

Loomenio is built by Roman Lozunskyi, a web developer and product builder based in Ukraine.

The project combines practical experience in building web applications with a real need observed inside a handmade business. That is why Loomenio is focused on everyday maker workflows instead of abstract inventory theory.

AI in Loomenio helps with input. It can turn a note like “received 10 kg of wax” into a proposed stock operation, and it can assist when you import a spreadsheet. Every proposal is shown to you first.

AI does not calculate stock, costs, capacity, reorder quantities or margins, and it does not act on its own. Those numbers come from deterministic rules, which is why each recommendation can show the data behind it. Every AI feature is optional.

Loomenio is focused on helping small-batch makers decide what to make, buy and fix. Sales channel integrations such as Etsy and Shopify are planned but not available yet.
